Today we had just one dive from the boat in the morning and in the afternoon we went snorkeling at the house-reef. I was in luck and got a usable shot of a ‘Whitetip reef sharks’ just that you see I’ve not tricked you in my last posts and Shark-Counter raises up to 10 now ;)

I know I’m repeating myself but this creatures are soooo cool. The way they’re moving and how they’re watching you … it’s very special! And by the way – should I see you eating ‘shark fin soup’ or anything else made of sharks be aware that I’ll break your nose – Period!

OK guys – today we had two dives near Maamingile-Island also known as Sun-Island. This area is known as a place where you can watch Whale-Sharks at the right time and the right place. Today we got the ‘right time’ and ‘the right place’!

Just look at the snorkelers to get an impression of this giants size! No mater what people tell you – nothing and let me repeat it – really nothing can express what you feel if you are just one meter away of this UNBELIEVABLE creature !!!

Today just a simple impression – ‘footsteps in the sand’. By the way – on Angaga-Island you don’t wear shoes. After you enter the island you walk barefoot for the rest of your holidays ;)

Today we had ‘turtle madness’ at Angagas house-reef. They were playing together at the ground for 10 minutes before they left. Really nice to watch – turtle-dance ;)

We have a break now after todays first dive so it’s a good time having a drink and rolling this blog. Todays picture – I’ve snapped in the morning – shows a big swarm of ‘Salema porgies’. Looks great if the form a swarm consisting of more than hundred head counts!

Some word to Angagas dive-base: It’s managed by Germans and if you know the famous saying ‘with Teutonic thoroughness’ it nails it down. The dive-base is well organized, well structured, clean and well maintained. People are really nice and very supportive over and under water. It’s unbelievable to find such a quality of service at ‘the end of the world’ – period!

Shark-Counter raises up to 7 now – one additional ‘Whitetip reef sharks’ :)
