We had the whole family here today and it was a great evening! So today you just get some more impressions of our christmas tree …. enjoy it :)

Every year at Christmas time I’m taking home one new piece of Christmas tree decoration from the christmas market. An important selection criteria for such an object is humor and originality. Today you see my latest acquisition and as you can see – it meets both requirements perfectly ;)
So let me wish you a peaceful Christmas season, stay well and see you again tomorrow,
Yours Andrew >:o)
Maybe you know the tradition that couples mount a lock with their initials engraved on handrails of bridges as a sign of their love and fellowship.
Today I crossed the ‘Floridsdorferbrücke’ – a bridge across the Danube River connecting Vienna’s 20 and 21 district – and noticed this old, rusty lock.
And it came to my mind if this love lasted as long as this lock is mounted here? I would say let us hope so …
Have a good night, Andrew >:o)
Today I’ve been shopping on ‘Mariahilferstraße’ – one of Vienna’s biggest shopping miles – and there I met this funny street-musicians playing on their crazy instruments.
Yes – you see right – the left one is an old broom with just one string and the second one is a kind of shovel with 3 strings connected to amplifiers and played like e-guitars.
But the sound wasn’t bad indeed – a little bit like country-rock – really cool guys!
Good evening, Andrew >:o)
Christmas is near so there’s no time to waste! I’ve just some days left to show you this years best christmas lighting in town, so today you get a view on the ‘spangled sky’ along ‘Kohlmarkt’ at Vienna’s first district. No mater if you like christmas – it’s a really atmospheric time in Vienna. You should visit us and see by yourself!
And by the way … all this night-shots are taken by my new ‘Olympus M.Zuiko 12-40 mm F1:2.8’ without tripod from hand. This lens rocks – believe me!
